Very good tip, Billy. Not enough doctors are utilizing Google maps to get free local traffic and exposure like you point out. Having a listing there can easily get you a consistent stream of New Patients monthly.

Excellent article, Billy! I read it a few days ago and thought you covered the benefits perfectly. When I first published my book “Cracking the Cancer Code,” I was amazed at how differently people looked at me once I was an author. It literally gives you instant credibility. I chose a company called iUniverse to self-publish and had a great, professional experience.

The beauty about having a book is, I give countless copies away (for Free) to members in my community. One of the main reasons is, people will with throw a business card away all the time but I know very few people that will throw a book away.

I cannot even begin to tell you how many practice referrals I’ve received from it alone. I’ve also received many invitations for free radio interviews on large stations and such.

Residual income is another added benefit of providing massive amounts of value through a book as well. If you’re a chiropractor, having your own book can substantially increase your practice. You already have specialized knowledge, so why not get it on paper

This is a great tip Billy. I signed up my chiropractor in Google Local and set her up with a WordPress website. She is getting several new customers every month from Google.

More people are using Google instead of the print Yellow Pages, and Google now includes local businesses in the results if you register your business and claim your profile. I’ve published some tips on how to set this up at http://expand2web.com/quickstart.

p.s. Here’s another hint – people search using the word “chiropractic” 2x as many times as they use “chiropractor”

I hope that you and yours are safe and well despite the inconveniences that Ike continues to put you through. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

After several days of enduring Ike ourselves, my family and I are tired but OK. I had to pull out my own chainsaw and we were running on generator power at the house for three days. I guess that is better than some folks faired.
The utility companyl can not tell me when I may have power to my office even though there was no damage to the building or contents. AlI they say is “Between 3 days and 3 weeks”. That’s a long time to be out of touch for my patients.

Quick update: I had a new patient the other day come in. She said she found me on her GPS system. I did some research online, and found that a lot of GPS systems use google maps.
